My dogs, Pepper & Madison LOVE Animal Medical Center almost as much as I do!!! We LOVE Dr Epstein…the other Vets too -Dr Briley, Dr Forcier, Dr Senf, Dr Spencer along with all of the staff!!! We have been clients of Animal Medical Center since July 2010 and over these past 5 years have always received exceptional service – they definitely go above and beyond!!! The whole office is filled with persons who are kind, caring, understanding, informative, communicative and extremely well at their professions. We are VERY HAPPY to have found such an exceptional Vets. We also LOVE Best Friends Boarding!!! The same rings true for the staff here!!! This is definitely my dogs “home away from home” and they LOVE their time here!! Between both facilities, I know my dogs, Pepper & Madison receive the BEST treatment including LOTS OF LOVE and attention.
Highly skilled and most compassionate team of Lowcountry veterinary professionals! Moving to Charleston, SC from Dallas, TX in 2001, I received a referral to Animal Medical Center of Mt. Pleasant for my two beloved rescues. For a short period of time I stepped away to a more local veterinary office at my home on Daniel Island, but I soon learned driving a few extra miles to AMCMP would result in my receiving the highest level of care I expected and my best friends deserved – Excellence! I have always found the quality of their service is unmatched, and their commitment to fair and reasonable pricing to be very much appreciated. I am pleased to rate 5 Stars and share my name behind the brand! Well worth the partnership!
Our dogs are our kids and we trust AMC Mt. Pleasant! Lauren, Dawn, Dr. Senf, Dr. Epstein and everyone else have always provided excellent care and compassion, over the past 15 years, to our four Australian Shepherds. They take their time to speak with us about our dogs’ health and wellbeing, and then make time to get to know us on a personal level.
Simply the best! My eight month old puppy came down with an unusual illness. Dr. Epstein contacted specialists across the country, spent countless hours researching and ultimately treating Ziggy as if he was his own puppy. What more can one ask for? In fact, the entire staff treated Ziggy like royalty. As I look back on what transpired just a few short weeks ago, I’ll be forever grateful to Michelle (AMC Vet Technician) for visiting Ziggy one late evening when he had to be cared for at the Mt. Pleasant Veterinary Specialty Care Hospital. Ziggy has made a remarkable recovery and loves going to visit his extended family at AMC!
I can not say enough positive things about this stellar team. My fur baby is in the most capable hands while under their care.
I brought my (2) 7 year old dogs to AMC-MP for the first time. Dr Briley performed the most thorough annual checkup my dogs have ever had. They have been to Vets in NY and SC and this check up was the best. My search is over. Thank you Dr Briley.
I have nothing but great things to say about Animal Medical Center. They are very accomodating, clearly care about the animals and are all quite friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality pet care.
We have been taking our family pets to Animal Medical Center for years! I have nothing but love and respect for the staff, doctors, vet techs, everyone that works in this establishment. They put up with my constant phone calls regarding my cat’s flea allergy and Dr. Epstein even took time away from his own schedule to come out to our house when it was time to put our 14 year old black lab to rest. I cannot thank them enough for all they do for our furry family members!
I have been using AMC for close to 16 years and LOVE all the doctors there. I had a Lhasa Apso that we had for 14 years and they were wonderful with her. The compassion they showed to our family was amazing. Now I have an almost two year old Cavachon and take her there too. I would not think of going anywhere else! All the doctors and staff are so wonderful, but I have to say I am partial to Dr. Senf and Dr. Briley!
We have been using this vet for years and our dogs are of a very delicate breed. Their knowledge and attention to detail in all circumstances is simply the best. I would not trust anyone else with the care of my dog and am grateful for all of their help along the way. If you really want the highest quality care for your animal, these professional are the best in the business.
I cannot think of a better medical facility to take our Little Louie to than Animal Medical Center. The staff there cannot be more friendly and caring. They treat each of our pets as though he/she were their family pets. You’re always greeted with a friendly smile as you enter and your pet is addressed immediately. In fact, when you phone for an appointment you can actually feel the warmth from the receptionist coming through the phone. We all love our pets and treat them as our children, but so does the staff there. My Little Louie is never skittish or nervous when we arrive. The doctors are so knowledgeable and treat our little friends in such a loving and caring manner. They know exactly what the problem is and if they’re not certain, they don’t hesitate to check further. I have been going to Animal Medical Center since we moved here eleven years ago and now our entire family brings their pets there too. I would never hesitate to recommend Animal Medical Center to anyone and have done just that many times. It’s the only name that comes to mind when you’re searching for the best doctor for your very best friend!
I have been taking my dogs to AMC for since 2004 and have never considered any other veterinary service. Though my 3 dogs have seen Dr. Forcier for much of the time, other vets have “jumped in” when Dr. Forcier was not available. I have always felt that Dr. F conferred with the other vets if a situation was “unusual”, or referred our dogs to Veterinary Special Care for very specific needs. Luckily, our dogs have been very healthy except for the last couple of years….to be expected of dogs now age 14 and 13. AMC always did the initial evaluations, blood tests and x-rays to rule out anything obvious. When Dr. F found what appeared to be jaw cancer and previously a tumor on the spleen, my dog was rushed to a specialist and provided the surgery and treatment needed. After 6 months of chemo, my 14 year old dog is doing very well due to early diagnosis. Recently, one of the other dogs had an infected toe with a loose nail, and after examination and xray, Dr F noted that the bone was obliterated and it was either a bad infection or cancer, and a surgeon should look at it. Dr. F said even if the toe had to be amputated, there was a good chance of recovery, and he was absolutely correct. My 13 year old dog is walking around just fine due to early diagnosis. As a side note, Dr F is the only vet that could make my very sedate old lab actually play like a young pup….Dr F has a special chemistry with my dogs and it is clear that he loves them and they love him back. The staff and techs are just as wonderful and I always feel like “family” when I come in. They are very accommodating with last minute appointments when I am especially concerned and make me and my dogs feel very welcome. I have NEVER had a bad experience in all these years with ANY vet at AMC, tech, or office staff. Last but not least, I have to put in a “plug” for Best Friends Boarding” which is owned by AMC. My dogs loves going and staying there, and get the same kind of love and attention that I would give them. The staff at BFB is exceptional as well.
