Doctors
Dr.
Anne Briley - graduated with a B.S. degree from the
University of South Carolina in 1981, and Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine degree from the University of Georgia in 1985. After
practicing in Summerville for ten years, Dr. Briley moved
to Animal Medical Center of Mount Pleasant in 1996. Dr Briley
practices small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry with
interest in feline hyperthyroid disease and animal behavior
problems. She currently lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband,
son, and three dogs.
Dr. Michael Forcier
- had a successful career in broadcasting, which brought him
to Charleston where he won numerous awards. In spite of his
success in radio, Dr. Forcier decided it was time to persue
his life long goal of becoming a veterinarian. He moved his
family to Columbia where he graduated with a BS in Biology
from the University of South Carolina. He then received his
doctorate from University of Minnesota College of Veterinary
Medicine after four cold years. Dr. Forcier and his family
live in Mount Pleasant with two dogs and cats. Dr. Forcier
practices small animal medicine and limited surgical procedures.
Dr. Scott Senf
- graduated with a B.A. majoring in microbiology in 1984 and
a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1987, both from the
University of Tennessee. He has been in small animal clinical
practice in Charleston since 1987. In 1989 he established
what has become the Animal Medical Center of Mt. Pleasant
Inc. Dr. Senf practices small animal medicine and surgery
exclusively. His areas of special interest include ultrasonography,
pain management, cardiology, soft tissue, orthoepedic, and
laser surgery. He and his wife Jennifer reside in Mount Pleasant
with their three daughters, cat and dog.
Dr. Karen Spencer -
obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from VPI and SU in 1977.
She then completed a Masters and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine
degree from the University of Georgia in 1983. After graduation,
she worked in a small animal/equine practice in Aiken, SC.
In 1999, she moved to Mt. Pleasant to join the Animal Medical
Center. Dr. Spencer practices small animal medicine and surgery
with special interest in dermatology and reproductive physiology.
She resides in Mt. Pleasant with her 2 dogs and 1 cat.
